The only thing that is constant is change. Emfeld has this as well.
Very soon, three of our senior team members will start out a new venture and I wish them all the best. I hope that Emfeld and the new venture can cooperate in the future.
As for Emfeld’s steps ahead, we’ll be aiming at creating our own venture, a SaaS product for the business and social media users. Planning is in process and we hope to launch the alpha version in January 2012 and if all runs well, we’ll release the full version 3 months afterwards.
We will have new team members and fresh ideas and we will keep on innovating. All of that for the dream of a better internet.

For the past few years, Indonesia is always our benchmark because that’s where we’re basing our operations. PHP/MySQL is a big deal in Indonesia and more web applications in Indonesia are built based on that. However, Indonesia’s development is not really keeping up with the rest of the world in most part.
Therefore, to keep up with the challenges in the world and to move towards global collaborations, we’ve decided to scrap our PHP/MySQL developments and move towards python-based developments. We’ll use nodejs, Django, and Flask for future developments as well as HTML5 and CSS3.
By this, Emfeld is ready for a global move in the web apps and mobile apps industry.

Recently, Emfeld has been working with Char&Coll personalized gift shop for the company’s soon-to-be-launched online shop. The shop will use the prestashop platform and is currently set to operate in Indonesia. The company sells gifts for various occasions and recipients.
A big part of the project is the development of the corporate e-commerce web strategy designed to drive the company’s growth on the web and targeting to make it the largest click and mortar gift shop in Indonesia. The corporate web strategy is a new service line of Emfeld, focussing on driving company growth on the net by leveraging the power of web 2.0 and current social media channels. The strategy developed for Char&Coll covers the targeted internet demographics, product placements, web channels management, and SEO. The last part of the strategy document includes the implementation roadmap, subject to quarterly review.
The corporate web strategy development project is performed by the Emfeld Web Consulting team. The project would require total commitment from the management and active involvement of the users in order to get the best results.

It’s been 5 years since Emfeld was established. We’ve performed several projects and developed our own standards and methodologies. So far, we have not been focused on what we want to do and we have not yet decided the business focus that we want to do.
